Thomas Uppena is the President at Associated Tank Constructors, Inc., where he oversees financial planning and risk management while driving dynamic growth and operational excellence for the company. With over 25 years of experience in the tank industry, Tom has been instrumental in steering the company’s growth and profitability. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and has served as a project manager on both small and large scale tank projects across the world.

Tom’s leadership is rooted in strong principles of safety and project management. After taking over as President in 2023, Tom oversaw the company through a major restructure while guiding through periods of both economic challenge and success. Under his direction, ATC has challenged the industry as a trusted, reliable provider of unionized tank construction, earning a reputation for timely delivery, budget management, and client satisfaction.

Outside of work, Tom is a devoted husband and father of two boys. When not busy with various school activities, the family enjoys traveling the world, exploring new places and cultures. You can also catch Tom on the golf course or basketball court most weekends.

Wes Parrish is the Vice President at Associated Tank Constructors, Inc. where he leads daily operations, including field erection, project management, and risk management. Starting in the industry at just 19 years old, Wes has climbed the ranks from an entry-level position to his current leadership role, proving his expertise through the successful execution of high-level projects across the country. He works alongside industry leaders to bring innovative solutions to demanding projects in the above-ground steel storage tank market. Known for driving efficiencies and dynamic growth, Wes has cultivated a culture of excellence, prioritizing safety and superior productivity. His leadership continues to set a high bar for success in every aspect of the business.

Outside of work, Wes enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three kids. When they’re not busy with school or sports, the family can often be found hiking, fishing, and making memories together in the great outdoors. Wes is also an avid cyclist—whether riding along canyon roads or mountain biking on a ridge, he enjoys exploring new paths and challenging himself on two wheels.
